About Us

Motor Neurone Disease New South Wales is a registered charitable not-for-profit organisation providing support and information to people with all types of motor neurone disease, their families and carers in NSW, ACT and NT.

Motor neurone disease (MND) is the name given to a group of diseases in which the nerve cells - neurones - controlling the muscles that enable us to move, speak, breathe and swallow; undergo degeneration and die.

When you buy an item from MND NSW all profits from the sale go directly to helping MND NSW provide services that improve the quality of life of people living with motor neurone disease and to research investigating the causes and effects of motor neurone disease.
